Our Mission

Somers Philanthropy was created with a simple mission: to create a world where everyone has the support and resources they need to thrive. Through our "Shop With Purpose" initiative, a portion of every sale at Mike's POP Shop goes directly to funding our nonprofit efforts. But to truly expand our reach and impact, we need additional support from our incredible community of customers and supporters.

Our Latest Initiative: GoFundMe Campaign

We recently launched a GoFundMe campaign to raise $10,000. These funds will cover critical startup costs, including:

Legal Fees and 501(c)(3) Application Costs: Securing our nonprofit status and ensuring legal compliance.
Trademarking Our Name and Logo: Protecting our brand and ensuring we can continue our mission under the Somers Philanthropy name.
Website Development: Building and maintaining a professional website to connect with our supporters and share our mission.
Initial Operating Expenses: Funding for initial supplies, marketing, and setting up our community programs.
